Imagery and data come from multiple sources - OpenStreetMap, Mapbox, Nearmap and Hexagon - with high-resolution aerials where coverage exists. Nearmap's coverage includes New Zealand's major urban centres; for sites outside it, Mapbox and the other sources still deliver. Ask us what to expect for your specific site.

PlaceMaker 4 adds 3D data from Google Earth and Nearmap, terrain from Cesium ion and Google, and Google Street View navigation inside your model. A new web version also takes PlaceMaker data into Rhino, Blender, 3ds Max, Lumion, Unreal Engine and more.

The annual subscription includes a yearly credit allowance for imagery and data imports. Use your Nearmap API key in version 4 to conserve credits.
