Chaos Envision: turn 3D models into living spaces

Envision is the cinematic layer of the Enscape family: assemble scenes from any tool, animate people, traffic and weather, and present designs as living stories.

Chaos Envision is real-time 3D assembly, photorealism and animation software for architects and designers. It goes beyond CAD limitations: combine scene elements from different 3D tools with no data preparation, and work through detail-heavy scenes without compromising performance or quality.

Envision is included with the Enscape Collection edition rather than sold separately. Professional CAD Systems is an official Chaos distributor in NZ; talk to us and we will set your team up with the Collection tier and local support.

Capabilities

What Envision adds

Five things the standalone stage does that your CAD-side renderer cannot.

Scene scaling

Assemble detail-heavy scenes from multiple tools at object-level granularity, with fast performance and full visual fidelity.

Cinematic storytelling

Camera paths, construction phasing, design variations and flyovers, with weather, time of day and animated vegetation setting the mood.

4D people and crowds

Bring spaces to life with animated humans and crowd simulation through the integrated Anima engine.

Design exploration

Create variations of any object, material or light, and animate between them for over-the-shoulder presentations.

High-end realism

Render-ready assets with rich geometry, advanced materials and dynamic lighting, plus AI-enhanced people and vegetation.

Imports

One scene, the whole Chaos family

Envision loads .vrscene data instantly, so Enscape and V-Ray work travels straight in with materials intact, and .fbx, .obj and .dae imports cover everything else.

Design iterations never restart the show

Advanced file linking keeps the visualisation current as the design evolves: update the model in your CAD tool and the assembled Envision scene follows, so repetitive artist work disappears.

Where Envision sits in the Enscape ladder

Envision capabilities arrive at the Collection edition, alongside Impact and the full Cosmos library.

What creators say

Being able to import different rendering software files into the one program AND edit them in Enscape Envision without going back to the original programs, all without any lag, stood out for me the most.

Envision FAQs

How do I get Chaos Envision?

Envision is included with the Enscape Collection edition; it is not sold as a standalone subscription. Buy the Collection from us and Envision comes with it, alongside Impact, Veras and the full Cosmos library.

What hardware does it need?

A Windows PC with a ray-tracing capable GPU: NVIDIA RTX series or AMD RX 6000 series or newer. If you are unsure, send us your workstation spec and we will check it.

What can I import?

Envision loads .vrscene natively, which covers Enscape and V-Ray output, and also imports .fbx, .obj and .dae, so scene elements from different tools combine without data preparation.

Does Envision replace Enscape?

No. Enscape stays the real-time companion inside your CAD or BIM tool; Envision is the standalone stage where assembled scenes become cinematic presentations. They are designed to work together.
