V.I.Peel is the peel 3d customer care programme for Peel 3 scanners. We are your contact for every benefit in New Zealand and arrange it with peel 3d.
Extended warranty and hardware repair
Your first warranty year is upgraded to V.I.Peel cover and a second year is added. If the scanner stops working under normal use, it is repaired or replaced under warranty.
Accidental damage cover
If the scanner is damaged by accident during normal use, you pay a reduced service fee instead of the full repair cost. One covered repair applies in each 12-month period, and conditions apply.
Accessory and target savings
Get 25% off peel 3d accessories. When you buy two packs of positioning targets, you get a third pack free. Order through us.
Full exchange value
Moving up to FARO | CREAFORM? Return your Peel 3 or Peel 3.CAD and get its full value as credit towards new FARO | CREAFORM technology. We confirm the credit with you before the scanner comes back. This does not apply to other peel 3d models.

V.I.Peel is only available at the point of sale, so add it to your peel 3 kit in the buy box or ask us to include it in your quote. The benefits start as soon as you sign up. V.I.Peel adds to, and does not limit, your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act.

What happens if my scanner stops working?
If the scanner develops a fault under normal use, it is repaired or replaced under warranty. If the damage was accidental, V.I.Peel covers one repair in each 12-month period for a reduced service fee instead of the full repair cost. Contact us first and we arrange the repair with peel 3d.
Am I covered if I damaged the scanner myself?
Yes, if the damage happened during normal use. You can claim one reduced-cost repair in each 12-month period. A service fee applies to each covered repair and shipping is extra. peel 3d can decline cover for a scanner that shows signs of irregular use, such as water damage. The full conditions are in the peel 3d terms and conditions.
What happens when my plan expires?
V.I.Peel renews yearly. Contact us before your plan expires to renew it and keep your benefits. peel 3d only renews plans that are still current, so a lapsed plan cannot be picked up again.
Why do I have to sign up at the point of sale?
V.I.Peel is only offered with a new scanner. Signing up at purchase upgrades your first warranty year to V.I.Peel benefits straight away and adds a second year, for two years in total.
