Technical Requirements

Please make sure that your system meets the requirements listed below before installing Chaos Vantage.

Processor

Intel 64, AMD64 or compatible processor with AVX2 support

RAM

System RAM should equal or exceed GPU memory (minimum 8GB RAM). It is recommended to have RAM twice the size of GPU memory

Operating system

Microsoft® Windows® 10 with Update 2004 (version 10.0.19041) or newer

Licensing

Vantage license with License Server 6.2.0 or newer

GPU Acceleration

DXR compatible NVIDIA® or AMD or Intel discrete GPU

Turing architecture: GeForce RTX 20XX Series, Quadro RTX X000 Series
Ampere architecture: GeForce RTX 30XX Series, (Quadro)RTX AX000 Series
Ada Lovelace architecture: GeForce RTX 40XX Series, (Quadro)RTX X000 Ada Series

Required driver 535 or newer1 in WDDM mode, recommended driver 537.13 or newer.

Chaos Vantage works with .vrscene files exported from Enscape, V-Ray, and Corona.

Support

If you are not using any of the above-mentioned Chaos products, you can still export .vrscene files from some 3D modelling applications via the free Chaos Bridge compatibility plugin. It is an independent .vrscene file exporter available for SketchUp and Rhino. More details can be found here.

A free .vrscene exporter is also available in Revit as part of the V-Ray toolbar. It does not require a license but requires a V-Ray installation. The exporter is available in V-Ray 7 for Revit, update 1.

Notes

1 – GPU must be set to WDDM mode and not in TCC, otherwise Chaos Vantage will not detect it.
