Uninstalling Corona for 3ds Max

The uninstaller originally resides as an Uninstall Chaos Corona for 3ds Max shortcut in the following location:

<code><span class="line"><span>C:\Program Files\Chaos\Corona\Corona Renderer for 3ds Max\uninstall</span></span></code>

Command Line Parameters

Description

Parameter

Description

-h or --help

Displays command line help.

-n or --noGui

Runs the uninstallation in console mode with no user input (no confirmation prompt). In this mode, the uninstaller is not able to delete itself, so the file C:\Program Files\Corona\Corona Renderer for 3ds Max\Uninstaller\RemoveCoronaForMax.exe is left on disk after the uninstallation is finished.

Leftover Files

After the uninstallation is complete, there may be some leftover files that you need to delete manually. Please check if the following folders are present and delete them:

  • %programfiles%\Corona
  • %programfiles%\Chaos\Corona
  • %localappdata%\Autodesk\3dsMax\20xx - 64bit\ENU\en-US\plugcfg\corona
  • %programfiles%\Autodesk\3ds Max 2024\Plugins\ (Delete only corona-related files from here, if present)
