This page provides information about V-Ray Render Settings in Cinema 4D.

Overview

The Cinema 4D Render Settings window hosts many V-Ray settings for both V-Ray and IPR. The available settings differ, depending on the render mode you use.

Selecting the V-Ray Renderer

In order to use V-Ray, you must first assign one of its renderers as your current renderer.

  1. Open the Render Settings window.
  2. At the top of the Render Settings window, choose V-Ray from the Renderer dropdown.

Effects

V-Ray supports the Hair Render, Remote, and Watermark post effects. These are native Cinema 4D effects that are applied after a production render is completed in the Picture Viewer.

See the Effects documentation on the Maxon website for more information on the Effects and their functionality.
