AI Shots

KeyShot's AI Shots enable you to combine your workflow with AI capabilities locally on your machine. Note that this feature is only available to users with a KeyShot Studio subscription license.

If you need to disable this feature with regard to your company's AI policy please go to Silent Install (PC only) for more information.

Technical Overview

• Local Execution
  • AI Shots runs on your local machine, ensuring that no data is sent to external servers.
• Offline Capability
  • Once installed, the application can function without an internet connection.
• Initial Setup Requirement
  • A one-time download of approximately 19.4 GB is necessary to enable this feature.
• System Performance Considerations
  • While compatible with most modern hardware, AI Shots is resource-intensive and performance may vary.
  • For best results, a GPU with a minimum of 16 GB VRAM is recommended.

How it Works

You enable AI Shots by clicking the button in the right corner of your Toolbar in KeyShot Studio.

1. New AI Shot - Use this to switch between modes.
2. Edit - This opens the Edit Mode. It allows you to edit and tweak your generated images.
3. Modes - You can use AI Shots in different modes, depending on the mode it will focus on different parts of your scene.
   • Restyle - This will keep your model but let you explore different lighting and design options.
   • Background - This will keep your geometry, materials and lighting while generating a background for your scene.
   • Imagine - This allows you to generate entirely new images without keeping to your scene.
4. Prompt - Use this to tell the AI what you want it to do. More descriptive prompts will give better results.
5. Resolution - Set the resolution for your images. The bigger the image the longer the generation time.
6. Randomize / Seed - If you click on the settings wheel you have option to randomize and set a seed. This is to give you more control over the generated images. Reuse the seed to recreate images.
7. Number of images - Set how many images you want to generate.
8. Generate - Starts and Stops the generation process.
