Creaform has launched Creaform.OS, its 3D measurement operating software, and Creaform Metrology Suite, its application software platform.

Scan-to-CAD Pro

New in Creaform Metrology Suite: Scan-to-CAD Pro.

Like the original Scan-to-CAD (VXmodel), it uses advanced algorithms to extract information from meshes, with flexible alignment, mesh editing tools and selection tools. The Pro version adds 2D sketching and 3D modelling tools, so you can go from 3D scan data to CAD software.

Scan > Analyze > Project

The new Laser Projection Add-on combines Creaform and Virtek Vision technology to guide operators.

Part of the Inspection module, this new add-on allows operators to scan parts, analyze deviations from a reference model, and project critical information directly onto physical parts during key manufacturing processes, a method called Scan > Analyze > Project.

This latest addition to the Creaform Metrology Suite helps manufacturers reduce errors and improve production efficiency for high-value parts and complex assemblies for industries like casting, aerospace, heavy industry, energy, military, or any other that requires precise operator guidance.

Part of the recently released Creaform Metrology Suite™, the Inspection module expands its capacities through the new Sheet Metal Add-on. Designed to address industry specific needs, it tackles the many challenges of sheet metal inspection in the metalworking, automotive and aerospace industries.

Up to 5 times faster than traditional CMM, the measurement process of the new Sheet Metal Add-on provides accurate and repeatable information on all sheet metal features, such as edges, holes, slots, rectangles, and trimmed edges.
