SketchUp Pro Non-Profit Subscription

The professional SketchUp toolkit for registered NZ charities - model, document and present your projects for less.

Non-profit organisations with current charitable status may qualify for a discounted SketchUp Pro subscription through SketchUp's non-profit program. The subscription provides the professional modelling and documentation toolkit, subject to current program eligibility and terms.

It suits charities and community organisations that design and build: community housing providers, marae and community facility projects, conservation and heritage trusts, community gardens and placemaking groups. Model the project, document it in LayOut, and put a clear picture in front of funders, councils and your community.

Buying through Professional CAD Systems keeps the process local. We confirm the current eligibility evidence with you before accepting the order, invoice in NZD, and provide local setup and licensing support.

The Pro non-profit toolkit

This is the full SketchUp Pro toolset: the desktop modeller on Windows and Mac, LayOut for 2D documentation, SketchUp for Web and iPad, unlimited Trimble Connect storage, the 3D Warehouse and extensions. The Studio-only tools - V-Ray, Scan Essentials and the Revit Importer - aren't included.

Show the project before it exists

SketchUp scenes, walkthrough animations and LayOut documentation put the proposal in front of funders and your community clearly - a picture beats a paragraph in every grant application. Need photoreal renders on top? Ask us about rendering options.

Work with the whole project team

DWG import and export means the drawings your architect, engineer or surveyor sends drop straight into SketchUp, and your model goes back out the same way - so professional work donated to your project stays usable in-house rather than getting redrawn.

Eligibility checked before purchase

Eligibility is assessed under the current SketchUp non-profit program. Have evidence of your organisation's current NZ charitable status ready and we will confirm the documentation SketchUp requires before accepting the order.

SketchUp Studio Non-Profit FAQs

Who qualifies?

Non-profit organisations with current charitable status, or the international equivalent, may qualify. Eligibility is not automatic. Contact us with your organisation details and we will check the current SketchUp program requirements before you buy.

What software is included?

The full SketchUp Pro toolset: desktop SketchUp on Windows and Mac, LayOut, SketchUp for Web and iPad, unlimited Trimble Connect storage, the 3D Warehouse, extensions, and SketchUp AI credits. The Studio-only tools - V-Ray, Scan Essentials and the Revit Importer - aren't included.

Can several people in our organisation use it?

The subscription is per named seat - Trimble's licensing is one real person per account, and each user signs in with their own Trimble ID on up to two devices. For several people working at once, add a seat per person.

Can we use it for fundraising or commercial activities?

Use is governed by the current SketchUp non-profit program terms. Tell us how your organisation will use SketchUp and we will confirm the applicable licensing route before you rely on the non-profit subscription.

Does it renew automatically?

Yes, annually when paid by card - you can cancel any time before the renewal date from your account and keep using SketchUp until the period ends.

Does it run on our Macs?

Yes - SketchUp Pro runs natively on Windows and macOS, and the web and iPad apps work everywhere.

We're a school, not a charity - what should we get?

Look at the education licences instead - teachers and students have their own discounted licences. See our education licences page, or ask us and we will point you at the right one.
