New

• SketchUp 2025 Environmental Sun Position Sync: Sun position changes made in SketchUp 2025 under Environments tab are now accurately reflected in Enscape. Both live changes and batch-rendered views will respect SketchUp’s sun configuration, following its prioritization of environment vs. date-time settings. This ensures consistent lighting between the modeling environment and final renderings.

• New Asset Delivery Platform: Chaos Cosmos
  Enscape now uses Chaos Cosmos as the platform for delivering assets. While the assets themselves remain unchanged, the system behind them is getting a major upgrade:
  • Same Enscape assets, now delivered through Cosmos
  • Improved search and filtering for easier discovery
  • More modern, intuitive interface for browsing and placing assets
  • Consistent experience across Chaos products, with room for future growth

This change will initially be available only in Preview versions. This allows us to collect early feedback and make improvements before a full rollout.

Fixed Bugs

• Vectorworks: Fixed missing Vectorworks version in the Enscape logs.
• Hyperlinks in Cosmos Asset Delivery Platform do not Open in Browser: Fixed clicking on any link like “Forums” does not open the internet browser.
• AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution: Changed loading behavior for external libraries that Enscape relies on to fix an issue that happens in rare cases when initializing AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR).

Known Issues

• SSO Login Bug Prevents Second User from Using Enscape on Same PC: A second user can not sign in into Enscape using their own credentials and obtain a license session.
• [Rhino] Enscape Does Not Start If Documents Folder Is Inaccessible In Rhino: Enscape does not start and no error message is displayed.
