Overview

The UVW Projection node is used to control the UVW placement of the Bitmap texture. Unlike the Cinema 4D Material tag where the UVW placement is done over the whole material, the UVW Projection node allows for fine control over each of the textures connected to the material.

Properties

Type – Specifies how the texture image is projected onto the object. For examples of the types of projections, see the Maxon page.

Flat
Triplanar
Camera Mapping
Spherical
Cylindrical
Cubic

Object Space – Applies the map in object space.

U Angle – Specifies the U Angle when the Type is set to Cinema 4D Spherical or Cinema 4D Cylindrical.

V Angle – Specifies the V Angle when the Type is set to Cinema 4D Spherical or Cinema 4D Cylindrical.

Motion Blur Samples – Specifies the number of motion blur samples when used with animated texture.

Projection Camera – Determines which camera is used when the Type is set to Camera Mapping.

Mapping

Wrap U/ Wrap V/ Wrap W – Wraps the map on its U/V/W direction according to one of the following ways:

Crop U/ Crop V/ Crop W – Crops the map on its U/V/W direction.
