Overview
The Settings tab provides system-wide control for various V-Ray features.

Global Settings
The following rollouts change settings globally throughout V-Ray:
- Default displacement and subdivision - Controls displacement and subdivision quality.
- VRay UI - Customizes the V-Ray user interface.
- System - Customizes various system parameters such as memory usage and frame stamps.
About Chaos V-Ray
The About Chaos V-Ray rollout holds information about the current V-Ray version that can be copied. The rollout also provides access to:
- Chaos Website
- Chaos End-User License Agreement
- Chaos Global Consumer Privacy Policy
- Credits and Copyrights
- Documentation Portal
- Current licensing type in the Licensing Mode line
- Feedback Program Settings
The About Chaos V-Ray rollout is accessible from the Render Settings window > Settings tab.
Chaos Telemetry Program
You can change your V-Ray telemetry settings from this window at any time. For more information on Chaos Telemetry Program, see the Chaos Telemetry page.
Rendering Over a Network
The Distributed rendering rollout enables or disables rendering over a network and provides settings for the rendering process.
