Activating Corona

Activate Corona

After installation, you need to activate Corona. The process differs depending on your version:

Corona 12, Update 2 and later

Corona 12, Update 1 and previous

1. 1Start Cinema 4D.
2. 2Go to Render Settings and set Corona as your active renderer.
3. 3If you are not logged into your Chaos account, a notification pop-up prompts you to sign in.Click Sign in.
4. 4Sign in with your Chaos email and password.If you have an active Corona subscription, you are done - your license is now activated! You can just return to Cinema 4D and start rendering right away.
5. 5To access Chaos Licensing or your Chaos account, go to the Corona Menu > About... and select License server to access the Chaos Licensing, or Chaos account to access your account.

1. 1Start Cinema 4D, set Corona as your active Renderer.Go to the Corona menu (at the top of the Cinema 4D window) > About, and open the Chaos Corona About window. Click on Activate license.
2. 2The Chaos Licensing interface opens in your internet browser. Sign in with your email address and password (the same you use to activate Corona or other Chaos products).
