To avoid any issues please ensure the following URLs are added to your Firewall Whitelist. Note that you might need to request help from your IT department.

The best way to do this is by using wildcards, here represented by *.

  • *.keyshot.io
  • *.keyshot.com
  • *api.keyshot.com

If that does not work, or you are not allowed to use the wildcards, you will need to add the following manually:

  • https://app.keyshot.com
  • https://auth.keyshot.com
  • https://login.keyshot.com
  • https://login-configuration.keyshot.com
  • https://cognito-idp.us-east-2.amazonaws.com
  • https://license.keyshot.io
  • https://configuration.keyshot.io

Borrowing A License

To check out a KeyShot Studio Pro Floating license, your computer must be connected to the license server. To continue using KeyShot Studio Pro Floating, the connection must be maintained at all times. If you want to work from a remote location and take KeyShot Studio with you, you can borrow the license.

Changing Server Connection

For larger companies, there may be more than one KeyShot Studio license server at the same or multiple locations.

Client Error: Looping Prompt

Reason: This means that KeyShot Studio is unable to connect to the KeyShot License Server application on your license server.

Installation

Client Error: No Licenses Available

Reason: There are no more licenses available on the server. This means that the license server has issued all the available license seats to other clients in your office network.
