Version Support

Live Components can be used with any supported version of SketchUp. Live Components cannot be used with any version older than SketchUp 2020.

Work In Progress

  • Component Thumbnails – Component thumbnails in the component browser do not update to match your configurations. Future releases will address this.
  • Nested Objects – Nested component instances are not supported at this time. We are working on supporting nested component instances improving areas like file sizes and reporting,
  • Triangulated Faces – All faces in a Live Component are triangulated. Face improvements will be added in a future release.
