Avoiding Guides
Delete all guides from the upload file. The fastest way to do so is to click Edit > Delete Guides.Guidelines can clutter up the component especially when multiple components are placed around a design.

Avoiding Section Planes
Delete all section planes from the model, including section planes in nested components. Enable Section Planes in View to make sure the section planes in the model are visible and then delete them.Make sure to turn on Hidden Geometry as well to check for hidden section planes.

Avoiding Stray Geometry
Delete all floating and stray geometry from the upload file.To do this, turn on all Tags. After turning on all tags, toggle Hidden Geometry, then use Zoom Extents. This should show any geometry in your model.

Axes and Origin Points
SketchUp, by default, uses the lower left corner of the selection bounding box to set the component’s axis origin. This default point may not be the best in all cases. The axes origin is shown in SketchUp as red, green, and blue lines intersecting at their “origin.” The axes origin serves two purposes in SketchUp:

Certified Content
When you see something marked as Certified Content in 3D Warehouse, that means the content meets the quality and usability standards defined by the SketchUp community. Certified Content is also easier to find. SketchUp subscribers can even filter their search results to only show Certified Content.
