Start Enscape – Starts Enscape in a separate Window.

Start Envision Live Link – Initiates a Live Link between the CAD/BIM application and Envision. This button is not available for ArchiCAD.

Live Updates – Starts the Live Updates for Envision and Enscape.

Synchronize Views – Synchronizes the CAD view to Enscape.

Enscape Object – Creates/Edits special Enscape objects in the model. This button is SketchUp-specific.

Asset Library – Opens the Enscape Asset Library window where you can browse the available assets and place them in the CAD application.

Enscape Material Library – Opens the Enscape Material Library window, where you can browse and import Predefined materials.

Enscape Material Editor – Opens the Enscape Material Editor, where you can tune Materials in the project.

General Settings – Opens the Enscape General Settings window.

Support – Opens a feedback window where you can send feedback regarding user experience with Enscape or report an issue.

About – Opens the about window, where you can view the version information.

Escape Store – Loads the Enscape store in a new browser window.

Chaos Account – Opens the Chaos Account window to log in, manage licenses, and redeem promo codes.

Revit Live Camera – Syncs the Revit Live Camera's location with your position in Enscape.

Render Image (Into Document) – Creates a rendering of the current Enscape view and saves it as a Rendering View.

Enscape Material Library – Opens the Enscape Material Library window, where you can browse and import Predefined materials.

Enscape Material Editor – Opens the Enscape Material Editor, where you can tune Materials in the project.

Place Sound Source (on Selected Face) – Selects a face to define a plane of which to place a sound source.

Place Sound Source (on Active Work Plane) – Places a sound source on the currently active work plane.

General Settings – Opens the Enscape General Settings window.

About – Opens the about window, where you can view the version information.

Home Mode – Returns to the main Enscape toolbar view, closing/hiding any currently open tool panels.

Collaborative Annotation – Opens the Collaborative Annotation tab, where you can create and manage project issues/annotations directly in the Enscape view, so you can capture feedback and share it with your team.

BIM Mode – Displays BIM-related information in the Enscape view (e.g., element metadata) to support model review and coordination.

View Management – Opens the View Manager, where you can create, organize, and switch between saved views for navigation and features like Batch Rendering and Scene Export.

Light Management – Opens the Light Management tab, where you can adjust and control artificial lights in the scene (enable/disable, modify intensity and color) for quick lighting iteration.

Asset Library – Opens the Asset Library tab, where you can browse, search, and place Enscape assets (people, vegetation, furniture, etc.) into your project to populate the scene.

Site Context – Opens the Site Context tab, where you can import surrounding buildings, streets, and topography from OpenStreetMap to place your project in its real-world context.

Video Editor – Opens the Video Editor tab, where you can create and edit camera path animations by adding keyframes and adjusting timing and movement settings.

Render – Opens the Render Window.

Envision Live Link (Windows only) – Connects Envision to your CAD/BIM project through Enscape. Use this to establish a continuous live connection that exposes all Enscape scene data in Envision while you continue working on the same project. Use the dropdown to access the Scene Export option.

Scene Export – Creates a view within a CAD software or the Enscape view Management to enable Scene Export.

3D Scene & Standalone Export – Opens the 3D Scene & Standalone Export window. There, you can upload your 3D scene to Chaos Cloud or export the current project as an executable standalone. This way you can share it with others, even if they don’t have Enscape or the CAD software installed.

Chaos AI Assistant – Opens the Chaos AI Assistant. The Assistant is still in Beta.

Veras – Opens Veras in a new window. Generate AI-powered rendering variations of your project for creativity and inspiration.

Enscape Impact – Opens Enscape Impact window.

Minimap – Toggles the interactive minimap.

Safe Frame – Limits the visible area to the projected rendering results.

Determines the projection mode. Use the dropdown menu to select the mode:

Perspective – Selects the projection mode Perspective (disabled for Synchronizing View and the Video Editor, perspective projection only).

Two-point – Selects the projection mode Two Point (disabled for Synchronizing View and the Video Editor, perspective projection only).

Orthographic – Selects the projection mode Orthographic (disabled for Synchronizing View and the Video Editor, perspective projection only)

Determines the navigation mode. Use the dropdown menu to select the mode:

Fly Mode – Choose whether to walk or fly through your scene.

Walk Mode – Choose whether to walk or fly through your scene.

VR Headset – Enables your Virtual Reality (VR) Headset. Enscape supports Meta Quest 3 and HTC Vive Pro 2.

Visual Settings – Opens the Enscape Visual Settings window.

Enscape Window Settings – Opens the Enscape Window Settings.

Notifications – Opens the Notifications window.

Help Panel – Toggles a sidebar containing contextual help information.
