Batch Rendering

This page provides information on how to use Batch Rendering in Enscape.

Overview

Batch Rendering renders a selection of saved Views as images or panoramas in a single operation. See below how to start a batch rendering process in Enscape.

Starting a Batch Render

Click on the Render button in the Enscape toolbar. This opens the Render window. There, enable the Batch rendering option. Every View in the current project is displayed, including the current Live view. For more information on creating and saving Views in Enscape, refer to the Create Views page.

The Current view is listed separately. In the views list header, the number of available views in the scene is displayed. Clicking on the checkbox in the header selects or deselects all available views. The heart icon ( ) selects only the favorite views in the scene. Hide the views list by clicking on the small chevron ( ) or anywhere on the header.

If a View is connected to a Settings Preset, the preset overrides the global settings. This means you can set each image in a batch to render to its own specific location.

If Automatic Naming is enabled under the Output tab in Visual Settings, each rendered View file is appended with the name of the corresponding View. Again, if a View is linked to a Settings Preset, this may be applied individually.

Toggle Save locally and Upload to Cloud on or off, as needed.

When ready, click Render.

Exported panoramas appear in the Upload Management – Panoramas dialog.

Notes

• The Show Safe Frame option is always disabled when rendering via the Batch Rendering feature.
• Automatic Naming has no effect when Batch Rendering, and the files are always named with the timestamp of when the image was rendered, with the View name appended.
• A mixture of linked and non-linked Views can be batch-rendered, with non-linked Views using the current Visual Settings and linked Named Views using the linked Setting Preset. For more information, see the Link Views to Settings Presets page.
• Batch Rendering fully supports the Default Folder option. When linking a View to a Settings Preset, the batch render automatically saves the image to the Output location specified in that preset. This allows for easily routing different views to specific folders.
